Functions- Calling A Function

A function declaration does not ask the code inside the function body to run. It just declares that the function exists. In order to run the code within the function body, the function must be called. In order to call a function, you type the function name followed by parentheses. In the following video, we will practice calling functions.


  1. Click the play button to watch the video lesson.

  4. You can use the Run button beneath the code editor to test your code.
  5. Output from the code that you have written will appear in the panel on the right side of your screen.
